God of War Ragnarok appears to be Sony’s next PlayStation PC reveal

God of War Ragnarok may be Sony’s next PlayStation to PC conversion

Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC next week, and it looks like Sony are accelerating their PlayStation PC porting efforts. Now, rumour has it that God of War Ragnarok will be Sony’s next major PlayStation PC release, at least according to the leaker Billbil-kun.

God of War (2018) was a huge success on PC, and it makes sense for Sony to release its sequel on the PC platform. After all, the game already has positive reviews on PlayStation 4/5. That means that a PC release would be a guaranteed money-spinner for Sony.

2024 has already been a huge year for Sony’s PlayStation PC segment. Horizon: Forbidden West has already arrived on PC. Additionally, both Ghost of Tsushima and Until Dawn are due to arrive on PC this year. Helldivers 2 has also been a huge hit on PC, even if recent controversies have lowered the game’s review rating.

If Ragnarok comes to PC, we can expect the game to support more advanced visuals than the game’s PS5 version. Support for upscaling technologies like Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS  should also be expected. Furthermore, PC games can expect the game to feature an unlocked framerate, and widescreen support.
