Gigabyte officially launches their Xtreme Prestige limited edition hardware

Meet Gigabyte’s Xtreme Prestige limited edition motherboard and graphics card

Gigabyte has today officially launched their Xtreme Prestige series of limited edition hardware. This new series of hardware includes the company’s new Z790 AORUS XTREME X ICE motherboard and the AORUS GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER XTREME ICE 16G graphics card.

Both of these products will be available in limited quantities and will feature a white colour scheme with crystalized titanium textures and a 99% Au gold serial plaque. These products are designed to be luxurious, with high quality finishes, packaging, and accessories.

With their Z790 AORUS XTREME ICE motherboard, Gigabyte has promised “superior DDR5 compatibility” with support for “XMP-8266 speeds and beyond”. The motherboard also features Gigabyte’s “Dual Interface A.I. Boost function, which utilizes extensive data analysis to optimize CPU performance, potentially pushing the i9-14900KS CPU speeds up to 6.3GHz.” Based on the image below, this motherboard’s PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot also appears to feature a HUGE heatsink.

Meet the AORUS Xtreme ICE RTX 4080 SUPER GPU

Alongside their Z790 motherboard, Gigabyte has also created an Xtreme ICE RTX 4080 SUPER GPU. Gigabyte has claimed that this is the highest frequency RTX 4080 SUPER on the market. The GPU boasts a 2700 MHz core clock speed and has the same aesthetic as other Xtreme ICE products.

This new GPU measures in at 357 x 166 x 75 mm, making it one of the largest GPUs on the market. One has to wonder why Gigabyte has not made an AORUS Xtreme ICE RTX 4090 given the size of this GPU and its heatsink.

This graphics card boasts three 110mm fans, twelve heat pipes, and a vapour chamber for cooling. Like the motherboard, this GPU will also feature a 99% gold serial plaque. This GPU will ship with a VGA support to prevent sag when inside a system, and anti-static gloves for safe GPU handling.

Both Gigabyte’s XTREME Prestige series products will be available in limited quantities worldwide. As of now, Gigabyte has not revealed their planned pricing for these limited edition products.
