Up Close - Lighting and extras
Away from the more individual elements to the system as a whole and you can immediately see the benefit to having ROG parts throughout your system. The AURA Sync lighting setup is one of the best and when everything can be controlled it's easy to let your system shine in exactly the colour you wish. We've stuck mainly to the red based hues here as we know they are still popular but there are a few others as you scroll down.
See. It does blue too. Although there is something about that famous ROG Eye logo in blue that just looks wrong to us. Too many years spent looking at red ones we guess.
Whilst you can utilise the OLED display to show CPU frequency or system temperatures, most people will do what we've done here and emblazon it with their name. OC3D MFers.
The fans supplied with the Ryujin cooler are LED models too. We've moved on a long way from back in the day when if you wanted an LED fan you ended up with a noisy, wheezy Akasa one. Doesn't it all look glorious in white.
Zooming out a little and you can really get a feel for how the whole system is harmonious. If you ever doubt the wisdom of paying a little extra to get nearly your whole setup from one brand, this should convince you. Lush.
It's worth taking a moment to appreciate the unique lighting offering by the G.Skill Trident Z Royal. Rather than pure LEDs it's a crystalline look and we think it's very eye-grabbing, particularly as memory is often the forgotten part of your system in visual terms.
