OC3D & Aria at Gadget Show Live
All White in the Black Country
And here are the pretty maids all in a row. From left to right we have Snow Drift, Yeti and Avalanche.
Snow Drift is based upon a Cooler Master 690 II Advanced White case, with an ASUS Crosshair IV Formula motherboard and Corsair AX850w PSU. That powers a AMD 1100T overclocked to 4.2 GHz and backed up by 8GB of Mushkin Redline, an AMD HD6970 GPU, Samsung F3 data drive and a 128GB Kingston V100 SSD for the OS. All of this is kept cool with a watercooling loop that touches all the names you know and love, EK blocks, RS240 Rads, XSPC drive-bay reservoir Laing DDC pump. Special note has to be made of the ultra gorgeous Bitspower red fittings.
In the middle is Yeti. No not VB, the system. This is all about hardcore gaming. A Silverstone Raven 2 houses a Gigabyte 890 UD3 motherboard and Corsair HX1000w PSU. That’s the underpinnings of a AMD 1100T overclocked to 4.2 GHz kept cool with a Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro. We have two Crossfired HD6970s, 2 Kingston 64GB V+ SSDs in RAID 0 and 8GB of Mushkin Blackline RAM. 2TB of Western Digital handle your storage needs and what a spec that is.
Finally is Avalanche. A white Fractal Designs R3 case is stuffed to the gunnels with an ASUS Crosshair IV Formula containing an AMD 1055T overclocked to a mightly 3.8 GHz and kept cool with a Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro. Memory is handled by 8GB of Mushkin Redline. Mushkin also supply our OS drive in the shape of a 60GB Callisto Deluxe SSD. AMDs HD6950 2GB provides the graphical horsepower and the actual power is courtesy of a Corsair HX750.
Doesn’t the OC3D logo in particular look gorgeous. So pop along to the NEC to get hands-on with these three beauties, and Tom too if you’ve such a mind. Do come and say hello, we’ll post up some of the visitors we get later on. If you can’t make it to the NEC then give Aria Technology a call and grab yourself some fresh white goodies.
Thanks to Aria Technology for all their help with the Systems and the stand. Let us know what you think in our forums.
