ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501G Gaming Laptop Review

Introduction

Technical Specifications

The Zephyrus is the first laptop we've tested that comes complete with the 8th Generation of Intel CPUs, here in the form of the core i7-8750HQ, a six core/twelve thread offering that should prove very competitive in our CPU benchmarks. Elsewhere we have everything we've come to expect from a high end gaming laptop including M.2 NVMe storage, a GeForce GTX1080 GPU, an 144Hz GSYNC IPS panel and RGB keyboard lighting. All of this is wrapped up in one of the thinnest chassis around, so let's take a closer look at it before we get down to testing.
