Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC Performance Review

Preset Performance Scaling - RX 580 VS GTX 1060

On our RX 580 and GTX 1060, we can see that Yakuza Kiwami's Ultra and High presets yield nigh identical performance levels, making the game's high preset pointless when it comes to performance scaling.

By in large, only sweeping changes to Yakuza Kiwami's graphical settings will have a notable impact on performance, with resolution scale being the only viable option for performance changes that are larger than a few percentage points.

The only reason Medium and Low have a considerable performance delta over high is the fact that they use a resolution scaler which reduced the game's resolution to sub-native levels. The other options only offer minimal changes to the Yakuza's performance.
