1440p Performance - Benchmark Results

At 1440p all of our graphics cards fell below 60FPS, though steady 1440p 60FPS gameplay is possible at lower settings on GTX 1070 or higher graphics cards. In the case of the RX 580 and GTX 1060, we recommend lacking the game's framerate to 30 and using a gamepad, while perhaps lowering the game's setting to our high setup to ensure no dips at edge-case performance scenarios.

At maximum settings, 1440p 60FPS performance will require graphics cards like the GTX 1080 Ti, RX Vega 64 (maybe?) or Nvidia's latest RTX series GPUs. As we can see in page six, PC players can easily gain some lost performance by lowering a few settings, with many of these changes having minimal visible consequences.

It's weird that HardwareUnboxed was seeing worse performance in JC4 over JC3. He really didn't like the way the PC port was done.Quote

I have this maxed out and my Vega 64 runs it brilliantly. I've played for about 3 hours and it's fun.Quote
