1440p Benchmarks - AMD VS Nvidia

Fq 2018 acts strangely at higher resolutions, but that is not necessarily a bad thing, with average and minimum framerates receiving relatively minor drops when compared to 1080p gameplay.

In the case of our GTX 1080 Founders Edition, this resulted in a 10FPS drop in minimum framerate which is extremely low for a resolution that has an almost 2x as many pixels as 1080p. Similar results are also seen with our RX Vega 56 and GTX 1070, both of which maintain stable 60+ FPS framerates.

Just like our 1080p results, we can achieve 1440p 60+ FPS gameplay using our RX 580 Strix and GTX 1060 6GB Strix graphics cards under the game's High preset. F1 2018 loves to be played at high resolutions.

Just picked up for £25 and can't wait to give it a run. First F1 game I've bought since 2012 now I'm finishing my studies.

Really nice to see AMD cards doing well.Quote
