Battlefield V PC Performance Review

R9 380 VS GTX 960 - Is 2GB of VRAM enough anymore?

To cap off out testing, we'd like to try running Battlefield V at over 60FPS on shat could now be considered old hardware, with our R9 380 and GTX 960 offering lowly 2GB frame buffers and levels of compute performance that sill a little above Battlefield V's minimum GPU requirements.

For Battlefield V we needed to lower the game to 900p Medium settings to achieve 60+ FPS framerates on most occasions, offering a great balance between performance and graphical detail. It is a shame that we cannot achieve these graphical settings and framerates at 1080p, but this is what happens as games continue to become more demanding.

And I love that for intel CPU, disabling hyper threading improves FPS for the 6 and 8 core chips Quote

Vega 56 is absolutely brutal on the 1080 here. Going to see how the 64 holds up against the 1080TiQuote

Not at the moment, we are working on that, but the fact that I live in Northern Ireland and Tom lives in blighty complicates things. It isn't as easy to get new kit into my hands as you would think.Quote
