Before we begin it's important to state that the 2800MHz setup requires a slightly boosted BCLK and thus gives a small CPU overclock. This obviously has an effect in the more CPU-based benchmarks. We're including them for completeness sake more than anything. So remember when it looks like the 2800MHz is outperforming the 3200MHz or even 3000MHz setups, that the CPU is largely to blame.

Demonstrating our above statement, in raw bandwidth the G.Skill is incredible, pushing a barely believable 70GB/s. Yet in the CPU benchmarks from AIDA the results are reversed. There is no doubting the capabilities of the Ripjaws 4.

I ran them for a night, realised they were pointless and the red didn't go with the white / black / silver colour scheme - now they're in the cupboard!
