MSI GM10 Clutch Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction

It's very easy to get swayed by constantly having high end products sent to you for review. If you're not careful you can be of the opinion that everyone has a monster mechanical keyboard and a super-high DPI gaming mouse at their disposal, plugged into the latest greatest hardware.

Of course as a cursory glance at the Steam hardware tables and/or your own desk will assert, for a large portion of the people who own a PC or laptop, high end is the stuff we dream about and good value is the stuff we actually own. If there is one element that the console brigade are correct about it is that gaming on a PC is an expensive hobby. You would have to want to take up learning the grand piano to find a hobby that can have a similar level of affordability.

MSI have released a new mouse that hopefully will make one element of your setup be far more affordable, the GM10 Clutch gaming mouse. It is a mouse pared to the bone. So the big questions are, can you really buy a mouse for £22 that will satisfy you, and does it still have enough to offer to make it worth consideration?

Technical Specifications

With just a 2400 DPI sensor - from the excellent PixArt range - and simple lighting with no side buttons there isn't much to discuss regarding the MSI GM10 Clutch. It's the simplest possible mouse this side of an old one button Mac job. So instead of rambling about nothing much of note, let's take a look at it in the flesh.
