Building profiles for your games is unquestionably a time consuming task, particularly if you have a large collection with varied requirements. Logitech have scored a sensational goal by having thousands of pre-built profiles so you can be up and running in moments. It detects the games you have installed, similar to the nVidia Experience, and automatically applies them when the game is loaded. It’s fantastic and works flawlessly.

      

If there is one downside to the software it’s the poor macro capabilities. With a firmware upgrade you can assign the function keys, but the actual macro recording is by no means the best we’ve seen. It struggles to be the average we’ve seen.

    

In sharp contrast to the macro abilities, the lighting is easy to use and extremely responsive. There are loads of options for lighting and all of them are simple and fast. Many companies could learn lessons from how this is done on the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum.
