Introduction
When we think of Cougar we thought of excellent power supplies. For a long time a Cougar PSU found its home in our Sandy Bridge bench rig.
Our recent experience with the Cougar 700M Gaming Mouse found it to be so impressive that now when we think of Cougar we think of that excellent rodent. It was designed well, stuffed full of great components and looked very different to the majority of the designs that come across our desk.
With that in mind we wanted to take a look at the Cougar 700K keyboard. We know how many of you like to have matching manufacturers on your peripherals, so it's worth discovering if the 700K can continue the excellent showing of the Cougar mouse and bring something new to the keyboard party.
Technical Specifications
As with nearly every keyboard of note the 700K utilises Cherry MX switches, red in our review sample. Combine that with an aluminium construction, plenty of customisation options and a wealth of additional keys too, and it looks like the 700K has everything it needs to do well.
