Today sees the launch of two new products from Corsair, both aimed squarely at the eSports Tournament players amongst you. We've already reviewed the K70 RGB TKL Champion Series and it's one button solution to ensuring you don't fall foul of any regulations in your competition.
Mice have fewer opportunities to have massive macros and button combinations assigned to them than keyboards do, so the need to disable it all at the flick of a switch is less important. What you want from a mouse is a sensor which is extremely accurate, tracking your movements as truly as possible whether they are fast or slow, with no interpolation or angle snapping to spoil that perfect click.
The Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Champion Series is a mouse that has been designed similar to a dragster. Whereas they are huge engines with enough car to get it down the quarter mile, the Sabre is all about a massive sensor surrounded by just as much as is necessary to be a mouse. Responsiveness is the watchword here and to this end it weighs a mere 74g, has buttons designed for the minimum of deadzone and utilises a well respect PixArt sensor as its beating heart. With the addition of Corsair's AXON technology that can bring you 8000 Hz polling when used in conjunction with the iCUE software, there is much for the hardcore gamer to love.
Let's take a closer look and then find out how well it performs.
