Cooler Master MasterMouse Pro L Review

Introduction

The Cooler Master Masterx range is expanding at a rate of knots. Whatever we may think about the - admittedly necessary for branding reasons - double Master in the naming, they have all so far been great quality products.

No gaming peripheral company worth its salt wouldn't have a high end mouse in their range, and Cooler Master is no exception. Designing a mouse is always a matter of choosing between various styles. Do you go for a right handed mouse with the ergonomic benefits, but eliminate 10% of the population as potential purchasers? How about the claw grip versus the palm grip? Aim squarely for one of the two main play styles and you end up ostracising those who prefer the method you didn't pick.

Cooler Master have neatly sidestepped these issues that might reduce the market size by producing a symmetrical mouse and then allowing the user to swap the sides and top depending upon their personal play style. Add to this the fact it is stuffed with all the high-end hardware you'd hope to find a premium mouse and it should suit all tastes.
