Absolutely inseparable. It's as if the extra 100MHz are twiddling their thumbs rather than giving us any performance benefits.

I take it you've tested using the lastest Catalyst, 8.921.2 RC11? Other review I read showed recent drivers improved performance anywhere from 10-22% depending on the game.Quote
