PowerColor RX 7900 XTX Hellhound Review

Certain companies are equated with certain product ranges in our heads. One that has long held an association with the AMD Radeon series of graphics cards is PowerColor. From their vanilla cards all the way up to their famous Red Devil range, if there is a Radeon GPU on the market you can bet that PowerColor have released a graphics card that is built around it.

The newest AMD Radeon GPU is their excellent RX 7900 XTX. There is an XT version of the 7900, but the XTX is sufficiently more powerful and yet only a small price rise that if you want the best the red team has to offer then it should be your weapon of choice. Naturally therefore, PowerColor have seen the RX 7900 XTX and saw that it was good, and thus applied their technology to it in the form of today's review, the PowerColor RX 7900 XTX Hellhound.

It's very difficult to think of a Hellhound and not think of Cerberus, the three headed dog that guards the gates of Hades. With a triple fan cooler the PowerColor also has three heads. Coincidence? Anyway, as you can see from the picture that graces the top of this review, the Hellhound we have in for review is their white model, which perfectly goes with their fan colour choice to lead us to a very attractive graphics card indeed.

Looks are one thing though, how it performs is what really counts. There is only one way to find out.
