Shadow of the Tomb Raider

nVidia RTX 2080 and RTX 2080Ti Review

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Much like Lara’s Rise, her Shadow is sporting all the boxes we can find to tick, 8xAF, HBAO+, lovely.

As with the other new additions to our gaming line up (we definitely wont miss Gears of War 4), Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks splendid and pushes some hefty frame rate numbers. If you really want to stick everything on maximum at 4K then you'll need to overclock a RTX 2080Ti to get the smoothest experience.

So at 1440P the 2080 Ti is a 10-20FPS gain over a 1080 Ti, About what I expected to be honest, Definitely not worth 1100 quid though.Quote

Yep. I'm confident I'm going to skip this generation and wait for the next. Quite happy with the 1080 Ti's performance. Besides G-Sync kinda makes those ekstra 20 fps irrelevant anywayQuote
