The GTX 1070 Founders Edition is aesthetically identical to the Founders Edition GTX 1080. In fact if it wasn't for the 7 instead of an 8, you'd never know the difference. The back is plain black with no vents, unlike the partner models we've recently looked at. The combination of silver and the sharp angles continues to make the Founders Edition the sexiest nVidia card we've ever seen.

Just in case you doubted how identical the two Founders Edition cards are, here they are side by side. If you want people to think you have the Big Kahuna then the GTX 1070 will make them look a third or fourth time before they notice.

Beneath that sexy silver shroud is a radial fan design helping to keep the card cool even when the gaming gets intense, and beneath that is the GP104 Pascal GPU.

Pretty impressive, nice review dude. Thanks. This has definitely put the 1070 on my radar.

Edit: The performance per watt is lushQuote

Probably sick of me doing this but, 1070!!!!

It's my upgrade choice from the 950s. Quote

Kinda just had an impluse moment. Not sure how they're going to fit on an ITX board
-edit- I know its not actually placed, but it is.

The power draw sold it for me. The radeon pro duo I had my eye on went up in price on me AGAIN and I've always wanted an SLI setup. If AMD release a game changer in the future I can shift these no sweat.Quote

Great review Tom! Any news on 1070 sli performance? I bought a new system with a strix 1080 and was told today the card will not in Uk until end of June at the earliest :/ I game on a X34a monitor and would be keen to see a comparison between the 2 when you get chance to see if its worth swapping. Cheers.Quote
