Test Setup
Following the success of sorting our graphs by the 4K results with the RTX 2080 reviews, we're sticking with that for the RTX 2070, so we can see how they compare to their bigger brothers. Obviously this card is designed for the lower resolutions than 4K, so remember to pay close attention to all the numbers, and not just glance at the highlighted position in our graph.
MSI RTX 2070 Armor
Intel i7 6850K
ASUS X99 Strix
Corsair ROG Dominator Platinum 3200
Corsair RM1000i
Corsair LX 512GB OS
Corsair LS 480GB x2 Raid0 Games
Corsair H100i V2
Windows 10
Overclocking
The nVidia GPU Boost 4.0 does a decent job of boosting the card when running it at stock. The OC Scanner does much better, pumping it all the way up by another 140 MHz average clock speed, but understandably the manual overclock is where the real benefits lie, with a peak boost beyond 2 GHz and an average nearly 200 Mhz better than the stock card.

I'd have tossed out that brand name years ago as soon as anyone realised that there is the whole Armour/Armor thing going on. They could have called it Shield or something.
Whenever I type anything to do with these cards I always need to double check to make sure it is spelt incorrectly (The UK spelling is Armour).Quote
