MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X Preview

Introduction and Feature Highlights

MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X Preview

Introduction

The MSI Gaming range of graphics cards have been fantastic performers for a long time now. The expanded Gaming X range is up amongst the highest performing of their particular option that we've tested.

Having recently looked at the ASUS Expedition Edition we've seen how low the power draw of the GTX 1050 Ti is when at default, albeit it a card without the extra 6 pin PCI power input. On that particular card it somewhat limited the overclocking potential, and so it's great to see that the MSI Gaming X comes equipped with the aforementioned extra power pins. This should allow us a little overclocking headroom to see if the Ti can match the 1060 or similar higher range cards.

We have our full review coming up next week, but in the meantime enjoy the official MSI slides below and then click on to the next page for our look at the, well, looks of the MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X.

Looks the same as every other MSI gaming card, complete with stupid dragon. I wish they would at least change up the colours, or, offer some sort of snap in parts that allow you to change the colour. It's getting really boring now.Quote

If this is as good as the 750 Ti Gaming, sign me up - this thing is one of the best I've ever owned. In a case with s***e airflow, and I've never heard the fans in the two years I've had it.Quote
