MSI GTX960 Gaming Review
At stock the MSI Gaming is two degrees warmer than the ASUS Strix, although when overclocked the extra size of the Twin Frozr cooler enables it to be a degree cooler. Either way the MSI does well to keep things under control.
Although still barely drawing anything of note, the MSI with its fullsize PCB does require 20 Watts more than the ASUS. Not a significant amount but it shows what difference the larger PCB makes.
