Large Memory Workflow - DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve - v16 here - is a video editing and post processing package from Blackmagic Design. This particular test utilises a 8K RAW format video file and filters to demonstrate how the extra memory on the RTX 3090 can be beneficial to content creators. Nvidia have supplied a test video for this purpose, and if you attempt to render it on the RTX 3080 everything just bombs out because the 10 GB isn't enough to handle it. However, on the RTX 3090 there is enough GDDR6X to run things smoothly, and this is the results of our encoding using the 10K CUDA cores on the latest Ampere card.

This card sounds a lot like me. It performs really well, but ultimately it is useless.Quote
