ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2060 Review

F1 2018

With F1 2018 we’re running TAA anti-aliasing, 16x Anisotropic Filtering and the Ultra High preset which includes Ultra High shadows, HBAO+ ambient occlusion and those frame-rate sapping Ultra High weather effects.

Such are the sky high frame rates available in F1 2018 that the Strix is the meat in the RTX 2060 sandwich sorting by 1080P. As you can see it's better as you increase the resolutions, with more overall performance available.

It's impressive but I fail to see a reason to buy this over an entry level 2070 or just 2060 FE, which certainly has an adequate cooler.Quote
