In 2033 we have a little tale of two halves with the stock card being slightly disappointing, barely above a 290 let alone the 290X. However, with the extra overclock it's easily a match for the GTX780Ti. Last Light definitely prefers the nVidia cards though and in both resolutions and both clock speeds the Radeon is hardly the card for smooth gameplay.

I'm waiting for my Sapphire Tri-X 290 from OCUK, they were supposed to get stock on the 27th to be delivered on the 28th. That didn't happen though
