ASUS GTX1080 Ti Strix OC Graphics Card Review

ASUS GTX 1080 Ti Strix OC Review

Introduction

We recently went over the important elements of the ASUS GTX 1080 Ti Strix OC in our preview, which you can read here if you haven’t already. Or, you can read again if you want to remember the details after a heavy weekend.

In brief, this is the first partner card we’ve tested of the absolutely mentally fast GTX 1080 Ti GPU. You want one. We want one. Let’s find out how fast it is.

Technical Specifications

In case you missed our preview, or you’ve slid in from a search engine rather than having our RSS feed on your homepage – cries of shame – then to quickly bring you up to speed the ASUS Strix OC is a GTX 1080 Ti based graphics card with some hefty factory overclocking and the reintroduction of the DVI-D connector that nVidia removed from their Founders Edition. This has caused some consternation on our forums but providing options is smart business sense, whilst if you don’t want to use it you can just ignore it. Only a fool would suggest that the extra inch of ventilation on the rear would make any difference to the temperatures of a multi-fan cooler.
