Bandwidth Bonanza

We've covered most of the bandwidth additions on previous pages, but it doesn't hurt to have it all collated in one place. The amount of people who blindly buy things which are fast individually without working out if their platform has enough bandwidth to allow them to run at their fullest are innumerable, but with the X299 chipset so many under-the-hood changes have taken place that you can almost not worry about it any more. Whether it is the simplicity of an extra GPU or the complicated nature of a RAID0 M.2 drive, the X299 has you covered.

Let us know what you think on the OC3D Forums, whilst we await the CPUs to land.

You could probably 3d print replacement parts in the color of choice too, can't wait to see if MSI do this same thing with X399Quote

I really do like the ability to customize the heatsink covers much more easily than what's been possible in the past.Quote

Both the 7600k and the 7700k is rated at 91W (Does hypertreading not add heat?)
Do the TDP of 112W for the new kabylake-x hint a higher OC potential? Or does it not work that way Quote

MSI might be on track with this one. I think Kabby Lake X is complete waste of time and money on X299 platforms. You can't use half of the functions of the boards.Quote
