Lighting Options

Customisable lighting is the absolute must have element to all current hardware, but particularly to motherboards. We might be used to making our mouse the colour we want, and sometimes our keyboard. In very rare cases we can adjust the GPU lighting, but motherboards are still, largely, resolutely the colour that they are. If they have any lighting at all that is. Gigabyte have pushed out the boat with the Designare, both in terms of how much lighting there is to take a hold of and the different ways in which you can control it.

A particular highlight, if you'll pardon the expression, is the support for RGBW LED strips. Anyone used to RGB strips knows how difficult it is to get proper white but the inclusion of RGBW means that you can get white whiter than a movie stars teeth whilst not being restricted to only buying a white LED strip to obtain it.

But we know you want to see which bits light up, so click on dear reader.
