ASUS Z370 Strix E and Strix F Review

The ASUS Strix range was released, in hardware terms, incredibly recently and yet has undergone a swathe of dramatic reinventions. The first models leant heavily upon the owl iconography that lent it its name, but that was swiftly eliminated once it had grabbed everyone's attention. It doesn't even appear on the packaging any more.
However, what ASUS have done with the brand is to create a genuine rival for their "red box" ROG models, to the point that the majority of our recommended hardware products come from the Strix selection in the ASUS range. They have the perfect combination between high performance, attractive pricing and plenty of gamer-focussed features to really attract a huge audience.
We've already previewed the ASUS Strix Z370 E and Z370 F motherboards and you can read that here. So let's get down to business and see how it performs.
As you would expect from a Strix motherboard boasting the very latest Intel chipset there are high quality features everywhere you look on the two Strix models. WiFi, plentiful USB ports of both types and all technologies available on the front panel and the rear IO section. For those of you who enjoy the experience of opening your new hardware and taking the time to enjoy every new packet that is revealed there are loads of accessories too, from simple cable identifying stickers all the way up to GPU brackets.
