ASUS ROG TRX40 Zenith II Extreme Preview

Wrap up

Lastly, as the keen eyed amongst you might have spotted on the previous page, the backside of the Zenith II Extreme has a M.2 socket should you have a plethora of drives. Naturally around the back it wont get the same cooling as the front ones, but it might be handy if you've got an older device where absolute performance isn't the be all and end all.

Let us know what you think on the OC3D Forums, and remember to come back for the full review on launch day ;)

Looks to be monster board with the only omission a couple of U.2 ports to hook up some monster Samsung PM1733s
So a Lian-li PC-011 XL, Seasonic Prime 1200, 3970X, say a couple of VEGA VIIs, obligatory D5, 128GB of 3600 C16s, a couple of 2TB NVMe M.2s, a couple of 360 rads, your favourite Linux distro with the ROCm libraries and that's a fair bit of compute all wrapped up in a shiny case.Quote

Dual Intel 10G or a fancy box? A very tough call. /sQuote
