When looking at ASUS' new ROG Strix Z370-E and Z370-F Gaming motherboards it is quite easy to think that both boards are the same, aside from the obvious differences in lettering and colouring.
While E and F may be close together in the alphabet, it is clear that there are a few major differences between this pair of motherboards, justifying the difference in pricing between these boards, with the Z370-F Gaming costing £187.99 and the Strix Z370-E Gaming costing £199.99.

Upon close inspection, it is fairly easy to tell apart these twin motherboards, with the brighter Z370-E shipping with a larger box, built-in WiFi support and the inclusion of an internal USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection for use with new USB 3.1-gen 2 cases.

Otherwise, these two motherboards are almost identical, with the gun-metal-coloured Z370-F Gaming shipping with nigh-identical component placements and specifications as its silver-coloured Z370-E counterpart.
