SilverStone Kublai KL07 Review

Introduction

It's hard to deny that lately there's been something of a building trend among manufacturers for cases with full size tempered glass windows.  With this in mind, it's kinda nice to look at something, well, a little more traditional and dare we say, quite a bit more grubby finger print resistant.  Enter then the SilverStone Kublai KL07.  A nice elegant looking Mid tower, which, with a price tag of £89.99 is dropped right into the most competitive sector of the market.  Does it have what it takes to hold its head up?  Well first impressions are good, it's a solid case, with minimal use of plastics and with simple yet elegant lines.  Inside there's more room than you'd think, but more of that later, for now let's take a look at those ever vital Technical Specifications

It took me a while to spot the power button, I like the looks a very nice case though my thought would be if you did put a 360 rad in the front would there be enough airflow. I'd agree with how nice you could make that look inside it needs a windowQuote

It looks nice but needs a window. That interior could be a truly something to look for. How about some mesh vent in front and top. It would be a direct watercool heaven case. Throw out the dampening, puts some vents there.Quote

considering how flat and clean the front is I don't think it would be that hard to get a 3rd party grill and dremel some front ventilation and the same for a window, though i'm no expert when it comes to modding a caseQuote
