NZXT Kraken X62 280mm AIO RushKit
One of the main changes in the Kraken X62 is that the unit itself features a new pump design, which is not only quieter than its predecessor but is also capable of displacing more liquid, allowing this cooler to make your system both cooler and quieter.
Not only does NZXT's new Kraken series of liquid coolers features a new pump design but it also has a completely new aesthetic, with the top of the pump unit featuring RGB lighting and a mirrored surface and reinforced braided hose for improved reliability and durability.
NZXT's new Kraken X-series of CPU coolers will come in 140mm, 240mm and 280mm versions, all of which uses NZXT's new Aer P series of fans, which offer lower noise levels and higher cooling performance than NZXT's previous fan designs. NZXT has also added fine Nylon sleeving to their coolers tubing, adding an additional level of protection for the tubing and improved the coolers overall aesthetic.
With an all black aesthetic and RGB illumination, the Kraken X62 is able to match any modern system, regardless of your colour scheme. Using NZXT's CAM software users will also be able to control their unit with a great deal of precision, with the ability to set up custom fan speed curves and even measure the units power consumption.
Conclusion
When it comes to aesthetics the NZXT X62 really hits the ball right out of the park, providing users with a clean looking pump, braided hoses and even some custom fans with replaceable coloured rings.
With this coolers improved fans and pump design it is expected that this new cooler will be a high-performance cooler, but right now we have sadly not been able to put this cooler through its paces on our cooler test rig. You can expect a full review on this unit next week but for now, we thought that we should give you all a sneak peak at this new AIO from NZXT.
Aesthetically this unit gets a real A+ from me, but I guess we will just have to wait and see if this CPU cooler can cool as good as it looks.
