NZXT H510 Elite Review
Up Close: Exterior continued
The upper part of the rear of the Elite has mounts for a 120mm fan, with one non illuminating fan fitted. Personally we think this is a bit of a shame, as with a case with such excellent aesthetics, it would have been naive to have this fan identical to the front intake units.
Lower down we find 7 vented PCI covers, with an addition 2 in the vertical position to enable show off mounting of GPUs. With the case having a solid glass side panel severely restricting airflow, we're not wholly convinced that this would be a good idea unless you've water-cooled your GPU.
Flipping the Elite over we can see that it sits on four quite tall rubber capped feet, which unless you sit the case on a carpet (please don't) will enable reasonable airflow from underneath. At the rear of the case there is also a slide out filter for the PSU area.
The front of the case allows access to the underside of the 3.5" drive cage, enabling it to be moved or even removed to make way for a small reservoir and pump. There's also a small filtered vent cover that can only be removed when the side panel is off.
