Corsair H80i GT Review

We've always made our feelings on 120mm rad based AIOs quite clear.  In simple terms, we're not huge fans of them.  That said, we do appreciate that with the increased prevalence of small form factor cases there's an ever increasing need for small AIOs that will, as they say, cut the mustard.  Having seen what the mighty H110i GT can do we're hopeful that the much smaller 120mm rad based H80i GT will also be able to knock the proverbial socks of the competition.  Not that we have any predisposition to Corsair, it's just that we always like to see the pot get a good stir every now and again, and with high RPM fans the H80i GT should be able to do just that.  Question is, will it fare as comparatively well at lower RPMs as its bigger brother did?  Time and the torture tests will tell.

Nice review Gary, I'm surprised by the graphs, it only out performs the original H80i on the MAX settings which as I already know is just not an option to the eardrums.. why such a drop in overall performance over it's predecessor. It really does look the part though with the grey corsair rad and block accents and that hose braid is gorgeous, just a shame it falls behind the H80i in the comfortable Quiet/Ballanced modes.Quote

I don't know what is happening at house Corsair but some of their stuff is going backwards they need to turn it around before they lose their reputationQuote
