Up Close:  Interior, Rear and Stripped.

The rear of Motherborad area on the maker 5 is pretty much the same as on the earlier models, except with the addition of a module that is able to offer connectivity for up to 6 fans and 4 LED strips.  As with all the additions seen in the Maker 5, this can be purchased as an upgrade item.

Also in evidence is the more than generous 25mm of room behind the motherboard.  We especially like the central cable trough but have to honest when we say we’d like to see a few more cable tie points.

Stripping the case down is easy enough as all panels come away easily without that feeling you’re about to snap something off.

With the top cover off we can see the module that is used to support radiators in the roof.  The slotted holes indicate that it able to accept both 240mm and 280mm rads.
