ASUS TUF Gaming GT502 Case Review

ASUS TUF Gaming GT502 Case Review

Meet the TUF Gaming GT502

Dual Chambered PC cases are growing in popularity, and it is easy to see why. These cases can be used to showcase your system’s most important components, while leaving many larger and less visually appealing parts hidden. With these case designs, your motherboard, graphics card, and cooling solutions are front and center, and components like your HDDs, power supply, and pumps can be hidden from view.

ASUS are joining the dual-chambered case craze with their new GT502 chassis, which is available in both black and white. Today, we are looking at this case’s white model, which features two untinted tempered glass panels from which users can view their components. Please note that this case does not ship with any fans, which means that buyers will need to add their own.

Strong Liquid Cooling Support

Out of the box, the TUF Gaming GT502 supports up to 13 cooling fans, and features three locations where 360mm radiators are supported. One radiator mounting location is in the rear chamber of the chassis, one is at the top of the case, and another is at the side of the chassis, between both of this case’s chambers.

While the bottom of this case supports up to three 120mm fans, there is not enough free space to mount a liquid cooling radiator. Unless you are using a MATX motherboard, a bottom mounted radiator can interfere with your motherboard. The three bottom fan mounts on this case are exclusively for airflow.

Vertical GPU support out of the box

ASUS’ TUF Gaming GT502 ships with a vertical GPU mount, which can be used alongside a PCIe riser card (a separate purchase) and this case’s supplied GPU support bracket, to vertically mount large graphics cards. Using this mount with triple slot graphics cards leaves plenty of room for airflow between mounted graphics cards and the GT502’s side panel window, making this case ideal for vertically mounting modern GPUs.
