Anidees AI5S Case Review
Up Close: Exterior
With measurements of just 430x220x470mm (HxWxD), you too would be forgiven for thinking that the AI5S from Anidees is actually an M-ATX motherboard sized case, after all, we've seen M-ATX cases that are a little bigger than this chap so it'd be a fair enough assumption. The AI5S is though in fact a fully fledged ATX case and, as you'll see it makes use of every last millimeter of internal space
With the left side sporting a smallish window, the right side is left clean and crisp. The front of the case is plastic, but finished to a high degree with mock Aluminium line brushing.
The top of the case has a removable magnetic mesh filter. hiding underneath which are what look to be some fairly exciting radiator mounts. What's also promising is that they appear to be stood off a large amount from the Motherboard.
The front I/O consists of a pair of both USB 2.0 and 3.0s, as well as a power and reset button. Over to the left there's also a three speed fan controller, which is a very nice touch.
The rear of the case is a standard ATX affair, with eight removable vented PCI covers. These are the proper sort that can be re inserted at a later date, as opposed tot he pop out sort that can't be re-inserted.
Underneath there's a good sized PSU vent with slide out dust filter, with the case standing on four fairly hard rubber tipped plastic feet.
