Intro
With so much hardware coming through the OC3D offices it takes something special to stay in our thoughts no matter how much time has passed. Of course more astute members of our readership might think this is a flimsy great excuse for us to spend the day in the pub arguing about which hardware meant the most, but you'd be right wrong.
So without further ado, let's kick things off with the thing you look at the most after your monitor, the case :
Cases
The Fractal R5 turned up at the end of November and absolutely wowed us. With a combination of incredible versatility, supporting so many radiator sizes we needed a chart to keep track of them all, and a price so low that it is a complete steal, the R5 is a case guaranteed to please even the most demanding users. We love every inch of it.
Next up is the Corsair 760T. A case we seemed to spend eternity waiting for it to move from popping up at trade shows to popping up in our offices, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The most obvious thing to discuss is the monumental side window that is less of a window and more an entire transparent side. Supporting some monster radiator arrangements, gorgeous looks and a price that doesn't make you do a double take, it's as great today as it was when we first reviewed it.
We know that it's easy to love big, flashy, expensive hardware. What matters more than lesser websites would have you believe is quality at an affordable price, and ooh boy did NZXT stroll away with that award. The S340 had a staggering combination of build quality, looks, and a price so low that it could sing Barry White numbers if pushed. With the move to the digital age we didn't even mind the lack of an optical bay.

I'm sure Phanteks would have squeezed in the best cases section if you guys had gotten them for review
