G.Skill Ripjaws SR910 Headset Review

We've just taken a look - and hopefully you've come straight from there - at the KM780 and XM780 peripherals from G.Skill and found them to be extremely good quality hardware let down by some strange software decisions and a couple of design quirks.

Next up is the Ripjaws SR910 headset, a proper 7.1 headset that plugs in via USB to allow you to get the audio you desire in any situation and on anyone's computer.

We're not going to insult your intelligence by explaining why you might want a headset, let's just get on to seeing what the G.Skill SR910 has up its sleeves.

Technical Specifications

No your eyes do not deceive you, this is a genuine 7.1 headset. Given that the ear pieces are no larger than you might expect it's barely believable how G.Skill have crammed all those speakers in, but they have. All of that into a headset which weighs a mere 420G and. If big specs are the kind of thing that light a fire underneath you then the SR910 will make you sit up and pay attention. You should too.
