Up Close - Packaging
We've often stated the importance of having quality packaging when you're purchasing an expensive product. We all know that what is inside matters far more than any initial impressions of the box, but if you're fortunate enough to receive a parcel which contains something that feels special, it helps. The 1More definitely feels special. The packaging is spectacular. Externally it's quite minimalistic with just a shot of the product itself and a little blurb on the sleeve. It's worth mentioning that this sleeve isn't just a paper one either, but as thick as many proper boxes we've had come through the office.
Within the sleeve there is a further box in black and buff. You can also get a glimpse of the thickness of the external sleeve from this shot. The tag on the side is a lovely detail touch which enhances that sense of theatre you get when opening the Triple Driver.
As a big fan of technical drawings and blueprints the explanation of the build on the left hand side of the box fills me with joy. With the buff background it's very reminiscent of Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. Not a comparison that I think it accidental either.
The included extras are simple but effective. A small guide and company card comes along with a sticker to demonstrate your purchase to the world. The bag is soft and velvety and plenty large enough to contain the headphones if you didn't fancy going with the included hard case.
Included with the headphones are a 3.5mm cable which fits into both earpieces as you can see from the image at the top of the page, as well as a 3.5mm to 6.35 (1/4) jack convertor.
1More include a high quality hard shell case with perfectly formed internals to keep the Triple Driver headphones safe. The moulded section is very sturdy with no flex at all. In the lid there is a pocket for the cables. Time to look at the headset itself.
