Lian Li have announced information of two new full towers
Lian Li PC-A70F and PC-A71FPictured to the right are the two new cases from Lian Li. On the left is the PC-A70F, and on the right is the PC-A71F. The popular case manufacturer has continued it's signature sleek brushed aluminum looks and retained the functionality too. They both weigh in at around 8kg which may seem very heavy compared to other cases, but when you realise that they are both 220mm x 590mm x 585mm in size, it's not that heavy at all. As the cases can accomodate mATX, ATX and E-ATX motherboards there should be no problems with space.
The two cases are identical inside, just that the A71 has a door and slightly different front panel. Lian Li have introduced a complete tool-less design throughout the case. This includes the 10 3.5" drive bays, 5 5.25" drive bays and the 7 expansion slots. They have also come up with an innovative way of securing the PSU in place and stopping vibrations at the same time.
As you'd expect from a Lian Li, the edges are folded to ensure a safe working environment, there are dust filters on the two 140mm intake fans. They have included rubber grommets to cut down on vibrations through the case and there is also a cut out in the motherboard tray to allow easier installation of CPU coolers or waterblocks. On the floor of the case there are a set of clips to aid with cable management.

The tool less expansion slot design is probably the best I've seen. Usually it's just a cheap piece of plastic but this seems like a solid metal solution and should work very well.
Overall the two new cases look very good and Lian Li have not made any radical changes to their designs, just added more features and tweaked their interior layout. The cases should be very quiet and still keep the components inside cool.
The cases should be arriving in both black and silver as other Lian Li cases do. It is expected to be released at the end of this month or early September. The PC-A70F is expected to retail for £160, and the PC-A71F for around £180 in the UK.
