When talking about MSI's CES 2020 showcase, one cannot ignore the MEG Aegis Ti5, the pre-build system that's packed with more cutting-edge features than your average Gundam.

For starters, MSI's press release states that this system ships with "the latest 10th Intel Core i K-series processors", while MSI's show floor lists the system with "up to the latest Intel Core i9 Processor". Add-in support for WiFi 6 and 5G, presumably a first for pre-built desktops" and MSI clearly as a winner on their hands.

Looking at the Aegis Ti5's other specs reveals that this system can ship with up to 128GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory, support up to three M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs and either two additional 2.5-inch storage devices or a single 3.5-inch drive. GPU-wise, this system can contain graphics cards as high-end as Nvidia's RTX 2080 Ti.

Look at MSI's MEG Aegis Ti5, and you will be greeted with a case design that's unlike anything that we have ever seen before, resembling the GLaDOS, or the face of a mecha from anime shows like Code Geass or Mobile Suit Gundam. This PC is designed to make a statement, which makes sense given this system's unique hardware capabilities.

Another one of the Aegis Ti5's unique features is MSI's "exclusive Gaming Knob", which acts as a human-machine interface that's similar to what we saw on MSI's two-screen MEG381QCR monitor

The OLED screen at the centre of MSI's control knob can display system information like the system's CPU clock speeds, thermals, memory speed and other pieces of system information while the PC's control knob can be used to configure PC settings. One example of the knobs usage is for MSI Mystic Light LED controls, or to enable game-specific profiles for the system.

Unfortunately, MSI was unable to give us a firm release date for their Aegis Ti5 system, pricing or final system specs. From the sounds of it, it seems like MSI is waiting for Intel to release its 10th Generation Core series of desktop processors, which makes sense given this PC's ultra-high-end features.
