MSI reveal an M.2 NVMe SSD RAID card, which offers read speeds of over 7,000 MB/s when combined with two Samsung 960 Pro SSDs. 
 
This add-in card will connect to PCs using an 8x PCIe 3.0 interface, allowing this SSD to offer the full speeds of RAIDed M.2 SSDs. This mount will also feature an M.2 shield SSD cooling solution and an integrated fan to prevent thermal throttling under heavy loads.

At this time it is unknown whether or not MSI will be releasing this add-in card to the public, or how much this SSD Raid card will cost.

That doesn't support 7000MB/s. So it is not the same thingQuote
