Just Cuase 3 has been announced

It’s been more than four long years since Just Cause 2 had graced store shelves. Avalanche Studios released upon the world outrageous open-world action movie where almost anything was possible. Players had to gunfights atop moving vehicles, traversed the massive map with the versatile parachute and the innovative tether that could link almost any two objects, even humans. The 400-square-mile world provided the ideal backdrop for players to go nuts and goof around with the games' wild physics. The mod community has kept players interest in the game years after the release, with the recent and popular Multiplayer mod becoming so popular it was even added to Steam.

Next year this beloved franchise will return in the form of Just Cause 3 on the PS4, Xbox One and our beloved PCs, the game will be based in the Mediterranean, on a fictional archipelago where we will one again grapple and parachute our way into well armed encampments and even soar through the air in an all-new wingsuit. Lets hope this game will look and play as good as the released images.

More information on Just Cause 3 will come later this month, but right now you can enjoy this interview with Avalanche Studios courtesy of GameInformer.

JC2 still looks pretty good considering it's now 4 years old. Can't wait for the third installment. It should be even wackier Quote

JC2 still amazes me even four years on. I mean, many of us love Skyrim for its huge open world, but JC2 had it thoroughly beaten in terms of scale and fidelity of the map and terrain - and it played just fine on consoles...

I will be eagerly awaiting any and all information!
