Need cutting-edge SSD performance on the go? Do you need storage speeds that your average thumb drive is simply incapable of offering? Perhaps you just want a place to put your space M.2 NVMe SSD. ASUS' Republic of Gamers Division has a product for that.

Meet the ROG Strix Arion SSD Enclosure, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD enclosure which can offer transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, support for RGB Aura Sync lighting and M.2 PCIe SSDs of practically every form factor (2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280).

With transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, users of this SSD enclosure can deliver transfer speeds of up to 1.25GB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2. These speeds are much faster than any external HDD or simple flash drive on the market. ASUS has also certified this product for both Windows and macOS. ASUS also plans to supply this SSD with a protective holder, which will allow the SSD to be easily, and securely attached to backpacks and accessories.

At this time ASUS has not announced the release date or pricing of this product.
