Amazon Prime Day SSD Deals - 1TB for £69.99 and more

In today's market, you would be foolish to build a new PC without Solid State storage. Now, SSDs are so affordable that they can be used exclusively for system storage, relegating mechanics storage drives to use cases where huge capacities are required on a tighter budget.

We have already looked at Sabrent's Prime Day SSD deals, and have found 1TB M.2 NVMe SSDs for as little as £82.49, though lower prices are available to those who wish to use SATA storage. Yes, overall read/write speeds will be lower with SATA, but with M.2 M.2 slots on motherboards are limited and lower pricing being preferable to some buyers, it is easy to see why SATA drives remain popular.

With SSD storage, PC builders can be blessed with faster boot times, quieter systems and increased system responsiveness across a variety of workloads. For gamers, SSDs will allow you to blitz past loading screens and to enter your favourite games faster. Some games have also started to list SSD storage within their minimum and recommended system requirements, making SSD storage a must for many future game releases.

Below we have a selection of great SSD deals, and while Sabrent is currently offering the best prices within the M.2 NVMe market, Crucial and SanDisk offer great prices within the SATA space. 1TB for £69.99 and 2TB for £134.29 are excellent prices.

These SSD prices are exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers and will only be available as part of Amazon's Prime Day sales event.

Well toss bags and plop !

Tried 5 times to buy a 1tb Sabrent rocket for £82, kept putting it in my wishlist. Then it tried charging me £119. Then it said not avaiable.

I got a 1tb Sandisk SATA for £69. Cheers Mark. At least now I can wind down my spinners and play games from the SSD in peace.Quote

Yeah I saw that, sod that. I just wanted *any* SSD for this rig so I can spin down the three mech drives for some gaming peace. SATA is a pain, but it was cheap.

I also grabbed a DOT too (as I need one for my living room, my one in the bedroom is deaf) and a Fire Cube. The latter I nearly paid £110 for last week when I was at home. Every two years my sticks seem to self detonate and start crawling and I am sick of continually buying more.

I know when I had the Fire Box (was my ex's) that never happened. Sick of rebooting the sodding thing when it drops the remote too, it's nearly impossible to access.Quote
