Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner is coming to PC

At TGS 2017 it has been revealed that Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner will be coming to both PC and PS4, remastering the 2003 PS2 classic with 4K visuals, enhanced graphics and support for VR.
When this remaster releases in Spring 2018, the game will ship with support for SteamVR on PC and PSVR on the PS4. The game itself was produced by Hideo Kojima and was directed by Shuyo Murata, offering third person hack and slash gameplay.
What is odd is that the original Zone of Enders is not re-releasing on PC, with PC having never received a version of the game. This remaster is being developed by Cygames, offering improvements to the game's PS3 remaster by using enhanced audio tech and offering further visual enhancements.
Below is an excerpt from Konami's press release;
All visual and aural elements have been remastered for native 4K resolution, and the action has been similarly improved with the game experience being ported to VR,

As such, the new game retains the unique and beautiful visuals of the original title, but boasts textures in updated 4K while using surround sound techniques to offer layered and immersive audio effects.

Do you know what this means? There's hope for MGS 3 remaster. Perhaps the entire series (aside from MGS V, of course).Quote
