XCOM 2 arrives on GOG with steep discounts

XCOM 2 has officially released on GOG, allowing PC gamers to purchase a DRM-free version of the game with steep discounts for both the base game and most of the title's DLC packs.

While XCOM 2's GOG version will lack support for Valve's Steam Workshop, a major source of mods for the title. That said, the lack of DRM may be worth this sacrifice for some, especially when combined with GOG's discounts for the base game and its DLC packs.

XCOM 2's GOG version will release with a 75% discount until March 30th, making the game $11.37. On top of this, those who purchase the XCOM 2 and all of the game's DLCs will receive a 51% discount on the series, making the entire XCOM 2 collection $23.07

Note that purchasing XCOM 2 and all of its DLC on GOG is cheaper than getting XCOM 2 and its War of the Chosen expansion, which costs $26.36 together. This means that PC gamers should also purchase all of XCOM 2's minor DLCs before GOG's promotional period ends on March 30th.
