Microsoft has officially released their new April 2018 update for Windows 10, which offers several feature upgrades as well as other usability changes. Starting now the update will roll out to systems across the world, though the upgrade may take several weeks to reach some users.

Amongst other things Microsoft's April Update offers Windows 10 users enhanced HDR support, new timeline and dictation features, a reduction in Windows Defender notifications (allowing users to get rid of those successful scan pop-ups) and audio preferences on a per-app basis.

This update will also add several new features to Microsoft's Edge browser, making the app slightly faster while offering users per tab muting functions. These features will improve Edge's usability and make it a more viable alternative to Chrome and Firefox.

Every time windows does a big update half the stuff gets restored, it is kind of annoying but more so because the windows search in the control panel couldn't find the settings i was searching for to disable again, i mean.. yeah..

Other then that, so far it seems fine once i finished restoring the things.Quote
